The Fundação Bienal de São Paulo is revolutionizing its communication for the 35th edition of the exhibition, choreographies of the impossible. In this edition, we are diving into the world of digital influence for the first time. With a group of 43 virtual ambassadors, known as Voices, Bienal intends to echo its values in the digital world and reflect the urgent issues that the show, that runs from September 6 to December 10, 2023, brings to the fore.

José Olympio Veiga Pereira, president of the Fundação Bienal de São Paulo, stresses the importance of this connection with contemporary art: “Although we are a traditional Brazilian institution, we have an obligation to be contemporary, to tune in to the pulse of our time. Bringing this market practice into the show’s communication was a meticulous job, carefully studied and sensitively executed by our communication team, and it’s an absolutely necessary initiative. We want to bring contemporary art to everyone, and there’s no better way to do that than with people who connect directly with our audience and have the potential to reach an even wider audience.”

Those selected for the Bienal Voices range from micro to macro influencers, with diverse profiles, and not all of them come from the arts world. Made up of influencers from the most diverse areas, such as fashion, performing arts, design, music and philosophy, the project team proposes a powerful partnership to bring the art exhibited at the show to an even wider audience.

To build this pioneering project, Bienal relied on the expertise of the renowned Index Conectada agency, recognized for its work in the digital influence market.
