On April 29, 2023, from 3pm until 5pm, the launch of the educational publication of the 35th Bienal de São Paulo – choreographies of the impossible will take place at the Auditorium of the Ciccillo Matarazzo Pavilion. The event features Leda Maria Martins, poet, essayist, playwright and professor, and Thiago Vinicius de Paula da Silva, community leader from the Agência Solano Trindade, who will discuss times, ancestries and education.

The publication will be distributed to everyone who participates on the event. At the end, a coffee break will be offered. Free admission.


About the participants

Leda Maria Martins was born in Rio de Janeiro and lives in Belo Horizonte. She is a poet, ensayist, playwright and professor. Among her published books are Afrografias da memória: O reinado do Rosário no Jatobá (Perspectiva; Mazza, 2021) and Performances do tempo espiralar: poéticas do corpo-tela (Cobogó, 2021).

Thiago Vinicius de Paula da Silva is a community leader living in Capão Redondo, at the south of the city of São Paulo. In 2022, he was one of the two Brazilians included in the list of fifty young people who are promoting and transforming world gastronomy, organized by the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, and won the prize Veja São Paulo Comer e Beber Causa Social. He leads the Agência Solano Trindade (São Paulo), that among its many actions promotes the democratization of access to organic food.
