Varanda Bienal – Orquestra Tambores de Aço Fundação CSN – Nossas Raízes tour

Tambores de Aço was part of Garoto Cidadão de Volta Redonda. In 2016, it began a phase of maturation, incorporating other languages such as dance, body expression and stage presence into the theoretical and practical musical classes, giving the group’s presentations more robustness. In 2020, the group went through a new phase, becoming Tambores de Aço Fundação CSN. It is made up of 20 scholarship musicians from the Garoto Cidadão program, aged between 13 and 19. With its own style, the repertoire is eclectic, influenced by Brazilian, Caribbean and Latin American music, keeping alive the cultural identity of the former Garoto Cidadão students.
