Varanda Bienal – Otto Power Trio

There are no limits to Otto’s musicality. Over more than three decades on the road, the singer, percussionist and composer born in the Pernambuco sertão has experimented with different styles – from maracatu to brega, including manguebeat, samba, rock, electronica and beyond – creating a remarkably peculiar sound. Now he’s coming to the Varanda Bienal with his show in a reduced line-up. In it, Otto revisits his production, regaling the audience with his main hits and versions of songs with emotional significance in his career, in a performance that is, in itself, an unparalleled experience, accompanied by a power trio formed by Júnior Boca (guitar), Beto Gibbs (drums) and Meno del Picchia (bass).
