Varanda Bienal – Mari Merenda

Mari Merenda is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from São Paulo. At the age of 24, she went viral, conquering her space in the world of music on social media.

The videos of her singing and playing asalato – an African percussion – got her featured on platforms such as Mídia Ninja and Uol, and caused her participation at Programa Caldeirão com Mion and Rock in Rio Festival with TikTok.

On Saturday December 9, Mari Merenda will perform at varanda Bienal, as part of the public programme for the last weekend of the 35th Bienal de São Paulo.
