Vapor de ideias – Sauna Lésbica in conversation with Leilah Weinraub

On September 9, Saturday, at 11 am, a conversation between Sauna Lésbica and Leilah Weinraub will take place at the Lounge Bienal, as a part of Vapor de Ideias [Steam of ideas].

The artist-filmmaker presents the conceptual paths of SHAKEDOWN, a film that records the daily life of the strip club of the same name oriented towards the black lesbian community in Los Angeles and which has faced the violent effects of gentrification and police raids. The meeting will be followed by sunbathing, a scheduled activity.

Sauna Lésbica is a collective movement for the celebration of Black lesbian and sapatão affectivities and a pleasurable, safe, and provocative space for experiencing politics, the spiritual and the profane, for loving and welcoming.
