Performance – Benvenuto Chavajay – Em direção a Xib’alb’a

On September 8, at 12am, will take place at 35th Bienal de São Paulo the performance Em direção a Xib’alb’a [Heading towards Xib’alb’a], by Benvenuto Chavajay. In a symbolic gesture that evokes the original healing dances of the Mayan peoples, Chavajay seeks to access spaces to return the stolen souls of the original communities.
