
Traveling Exhibition 35th Bienal – Campinas
The city of Campinas, the third most populous in the state of São Paulo, will host one of the traveling exhibitions of the 35th Bienal de São Paulo – choreographies of the impossible, in partnership with Sesc São Paulo. The show arrives in the city on June 6 and will remain there until September 8. Curated by Diane Lima, Grada Kilomba, Hélio Menezes and Manuel Borja-Villel, the exhibition was a success in 2023, receiving acclaim from both the public and critics.
The exhibition in Campinas will feature thirteen participants: Aline Mota, Aurora Cursino dos Santos, Januário Jano, Kamal Aljafari, Luana Vitra, Luiz de Abreu, MAHKU, Manuel Chavajay, Marilyn Boror Bor, Maya Deren, Quilombo Cafundó, Ubirajara Ferreira Braga and Zumví Arquivo Afro Fotográfico.
